Happy Birthday Annie! Today is the day we celebrate little Annie's birthday. We rescued Annie from a West Virginia Dog Rescue on September 25, 2006. They had estimated that she was about 5 months old at the time, so we will use today as her "official" birthday. Annie was really sick when we got her. She had some sort of intestinal virus, fleas, mange and overall was just not a happy, playful puppy. When Sandy and I drove out to Hagerstown MD to look at her, we just felt that if we didn't take her she might not make it. We immediately had Dr Freid come out and look at her. With medication and an aggressive nutritional campaign, Annie slowly grew, her eyes cleared up and she started acting like a puppy. She just completed her first puppy school and was the star puppy at graduation. She is currently enrolled in Advanced Basic puppy school and doing well. We're not sure what breed she is, but you gotta admit, She sure is adorable!
