I feel like I have been ten times as productive since coming back from vacation. If you have been putting off that getaway, like I had been doing, maybe you can take a small step towards your next vacation.
Write down five places you would like to go to. Of those five, which one would really be the place you would want to spend some time with your significant other and/or family.
Get on the net and do some research. What time of the year would be ideal? Will we drive or fly? Do I need a passport? (Go ahead and get your passport. They’re good for ten years and it is the only sure way to prove your citizenship while traveling. There would be nothing worse than having a place and time to vacation only to have your passport application delayed and screw the whole thing up.) How much do I need to save each pay?
Then start planning. I know I am always glad that I got away for a bit. It is quite refreshing.
P.S. If you leave your internet connection and your cell phone behind, really get away from it all, you can expect to come back REALLY RECHARGED!
